While it sounds like an overall improvement over the first Whirl model from ZTE, the Whirl 2 sadly shies of many other entry-level alternatives with its selection of pros and cons.
For instance, it only sports one camera, which is a 3-megapixel rear sensor and is limited to a 3.5-inch display -- about as low as it gets for mid-2014 releases. It is also pinned to 3G networks , though the apparent lack of LTE is rather forgivable considering its cheap price point. Perhaps its 1.2GHz quad-core processor is a slight pro, as it is somehow the engine of choice for most budget Androids, but it may only push the ZTE Whirl 2 so far.
