ZTE ZMax Review of The Pros And Cons

Picture of the ZTE ZMax, by ZTE

- Analysis by KJ David

With Gorilla Glass (v3.0) protection and Dolby (DM3 sound enhancements leading its features, the ZTE ZMax might just have an edge over other middle class phablets. Its other appreciable specs include an 8-megapixel rear camera that records 1080p videos, hearing aid certification (M3/T4) and 2GB worth of RAM. Its 1.2GHz quad-core engine also seems to be a good fit, but a little more clock speed might have been in order for a wide-screen Android. Its 5.7-inch screen also settles for a 720p TFT display, despite most of the competition sporting FullHD IPS ones. Summing up, ZTE might have packed just enough features in the ZMax phablet to match its mid-level price tag.
