The flagship smartphone for BlackBerry's new OS 10 offers a full touch design with a 4.2-inch HD display instead of the QWERTY bar form factor BlackBerry is traditionally known for. Other features are respectable, but not as high-end as we would have expected. We like the 2GB RAM and the 80GB maximum total end-user memory (16GB internal plus up to 64GB memory expansion via MicroSD card), but we were disappointed to find a dual-core processor instead of the quad-core CPU we hoped for.
On-paper Star rating: 
The display is quite big, with its 4.2-inch diagonal size and its 1280 x 768 resolution (in pixels).
While many phone displays offer a regular image sharpness (generally around 225 DPI and sometimes less), this phone's screen stands out with a 355.56 DPI image resolution.
The Z10 boasts a larger internal memory (16000MB), but it may sometimes be more interesting to buy a phone with an included memory card instead, since the memory card can then be reused in a future cell phone.
Superior camera resolution - 8-megapixel - with these features: Auto-focus, Brightness, Image Stabilization, Night Mode, Time shift mode, Enhanced Super Resolution Digital Zoom, Flash, Back Side Illumination for better low-light performance.

BlackBerry claims that the BlackBerry Z10 delivers 600 minutes of talk time. If it lives up to that claim, it will be convenient.
The HDMI port will be useful to watch HD (1920 x 1080 resolution) videos recorded with the BlackBerry Z10 on an HDTV (HDMI cable might be sold separately).
In 2024, we would expect more than only 2-megapixel of selfie camera resolution.
