Samsung Galaxy Star Pros And Cons Review

Picture of the Samsung Galaxy Star, by Samsung

It is equipped with entry-level specs such as a 1Ghz processor, a 4GB internal memory that's expandable up to 32GB (surprisingly big for an entry-level phone), and a 2-megapixel camera. The intelligent motion UI feature is convenient and a nice touch, but it can only do so much to help it distinguish itself amongst other entry-level smartphones. If the Samsung Galaxy Star was indeed a star amongst other stars, we doubt anyone would notice it.

Let's Look at the Cons:

Above-average radiation level:

If cell phone radiation is a concern, keep in mind that the Samsung Galaxy Star has a somewhat above-average SAR rating (1.08 w/kg). It's not necessarily too much (we've seen worse) but, at the same time, it's not one of the lowest figures.

Lower-resolution inbuilt camera:

Don't expect stunning photos with its 2-megapixel camera.

Unknown weight:

It's disappointing that we were not able to find information about its weight.

Now, the Pros:

High-profile smartphone operating system:

Because the Samsung Galaxy Star is running a very popular operating system, you are more likely to find a large variety of applications and great community support for this phone.
