- Analysis by KJ David
We usually see rugged features on entry-level models, but Kyocera's DuraForce apparently looks to make a difference in the mid-range category. Its pros include Enhanced Push-To-Talk (with a programmable key)
and the Smart Sonic Receiver technology
, which apparently allows you to hear better under noisy environments. Both technologies are packed inside an IP68-
and MIL810G-certified
casing that provides added resistance against various outdoor factors
A Full HD resolution
and an extra SIM card slot
would have been nice on this outdoorsy model, but we doubt that their absence take anything away from this gritty middle-class Android.
