Kyocera puts a strong focus on rugged and waterproof smartphones as well as some classic phones too. Their Kyocera Hydro and Dura lines, in particular, comply to a variety of military specifications for ruggedness. They release only a handful of new phones per year and they tend to make more flip phones and basic models than other manufacturers. Most of their smartphones generally run versions of the Android operating system. Upcoming and new Kyocera phones are listed in order of recency.
