The OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren is a feature-rich phone geared towards an upscale clientele. That being said, it's not without a couple of cons, one of which is its lack of room for memory expansion -- some of the best smartphones listed here on Phonerated pack large internal memories and still have microSD card slots. Needless to say, barring any cloud storage plan, its users only have 256GB of native memory to work with.

Its 16-megapixel fixed-focus selfie camera does not sound that impressive either, at least compared to the autofocus-equipped, higher-resolution selfie shooters touted by some of its 2019 contemporaries. That being said, its list of pros and cons is crowned by an ambitious triple main camera that brings to mind some of the best photography smartphones available as we were reviewing its specs. Its three-lens setup is made up of a 48-megapixel main lens infused with the 4-in-1 pixel technology, a 16-megapixel wide-angle lens boasting a 117-degree angle, and an 8-megapixel optical-zooming (3x) telephoto lens.

This 206g-heavy flagship's pros also include a premium-class Snapdragon 855 Plus eight-core engine clocking in at 2.96GHz , making it one of the fastest phones of its generation. It is accompanied by a massive 12GB RAM and an Adreno 640 graphics processor. This model also packs a 5G network adapter , while the plain 7T Pro is limited to 4G-LTE networks only.

Up front, it touts a 6.67-inch 19.5:9 AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate that mimics those of the monitors touted by most modern gaming laptops and desktop computers. It also features a 3120 x 1440 2K definition, a 516ppi pixel density count , and an inbuilt video enhancer feature. It has an in-display fingerprint reader and it is furbished by a 3D Corning Gorilla Glass panel.

Powering its pros and cons is a 4085mAh battery that's accompanied by the brand's signature Warp Charte 30T fast-charging technology, promising to restore up to 68 percent of power in 30 minutes.

Its finishing touches include a carbon-fiber-inlaid housing with a dash of McLaren's signature Papaya Orange, obviously to accentuate its focus on performance and multimedia.
