YU Yutopia Pros & Cons Review

- Analysis by KJ David

While we won't say that the YU Yutopia is the perfect place for premium Android users to be, it does come pretty darn close, sporting a 21-megapixel dual-flash PDAF 4K camera , a WQHD (2560 x 1400) 565ppi screen , and an octa-core 64-bit processor with a 4G DDR4 RAM as its primary pros. Housing these specs is an aircraft-grade aluminum-magnesium alloy frame , though the camera bump (9.07mm) on its rear makes it look less seamless, causing us to flag it as a con.

Also part of the Yutopia's feature set are a fingerprint scanner , a Corning Concore Glass finish , as well as a relatively wide array of sensors , which include a 6-axis gyroscope and hall-effect reader. Additionally, it features the Quick Charge 2.0 technology via a 3000mAh battery, though we can't help but wish that USB Type-C was part of its offering -- it has the USB 2.0 standard.

In a nutshell, YU lists itself among other premium phone manufacturers with the December 2015 Yutopia.
