Asus expands its flagship roster with the 2016 Zenfone 3, a 5.5-inch FHD (with 2.5D Gorilla Glass) smartphone whose specs lean heavily towards multimedia and performance. It runs on a 14nm octa-core 2GHz Snapdragon 625 engine bundled up with 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM and an Adreno 506 graphics unit. It touts a premium-class 16-megapixel camera decked out with laser autofocus, a dual-LED real-tone flash, and 4K video recording.
This 3000mAh-powered Zenfone edition also features a SonicMaster 3.0 audio system fed through a 5-magnet speaker, an 8-megapixel secondary camera, and a fingerprint reader that stores up to five prints. Its color options include Aqua Blue and Shimmer Gold.
