Manufacturing giant Caterpillar promises brains and brawn in its dual-core 1GHz Android 4.1 smartphone that is expected to survive being submerged under three feet of water for 30 minutes and being dropped onto concrete from a height of six feet (preferably set concrete though). It has a 4-inch screen with a wet finger tracking feature (which means it can respond even to wet fingers) and an 800 x 480-pixel resolution.
