Huawei's 4.5-inch Ascend Y550 is an LTE-enabled entry-level smartphone that runs on a quad-core 1.2GHz processor. It features the standard Huawei Emotion UI and a Simple UI, which displays larger icons in a more straightforward layout. Its maximum data rate is at 150Mbps, the same speed we have observed on many mid- to high-level LTE Androids. The Ascend Y550 comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera that captures 720p videos, with a 2-megapixel camera for selfies up front. Its modest hardware also includes a 2000mAh battery, a 1GB RAM and a 4GB internal memory.
