Taking after the flagship Huawei Mate 9, the Mate 9 Porsche Design is a slightly-lighter, yet more-advanced Nougat-sporting Android, with a Leica dual-camera setup (20-megapixel monochrome + 12-megapixel RGB), 6GB of RAM, and a WQHD-1400p 534ppi 5.5-inch Curved AMOLED screen leading its specifications. Joining its premium RAM under the hood are a 2.4GHz + 1.8GHz eight-core Kirin 960 CPU paired up with an i6 co-processor as well as an octa-core Mali-G71 MP8 graphics chip, while its rear camera setup delivers quad hybrid autofocus, 4K imaging, and 2x hybrid zooming.
From the Mate 9's 64GB, this edition's on-board storage jumps to a generous 256GB (It loses the microSD card slot), with the fingerprint sensor now embedded into its home button, instead of being a standalone rear-mounted scanner. Its luxury-driven features also include a 4000mAh battery, an 8-megapixel selfie cam with autofocus, and Huawei's EMUI 5.0.
