Description:
Rocking one of the largest (and highest-specked) smartphone screens as of 2016, the Huawei Note 8 is home to a bevy of flagship hardware components as well. Its 6.6-inch AMOLED 1440p display, which is enabled for split-screen operation, is loaded onto an eight-core Kirin 955 (2.5GHz + 1.8GHz) system aided by 4GB of RAM and Mali T880 MP4 graphics. Probably in anticipation of its power-hungry screen, Huawei loaded the Note 8 with 4500mAh of power and 128GB of internal memory (64GB/32GB variants are also offered) expandable by up to 128GB.
While it does not capture 4K-2160p footage, its 13-megapixel OIS-equipped color-temperature-flash main camera levels with those of many other 2016 flagships notwithstanding. Additionally, its specs list includes an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, fingerprint identification, and 4G LTE Cat 4/6 connectivity. Its heavy (219g), but slim (7.18mm) body is available in Light Platinum Gold, Silver Ice, and Titanium Silver.
