Description:

Kodak blends their classic DSLR camera concept with an Android-run phone in the 2016 Ektra, a 5-inch Full HD (with Gorilla Glass) smartphone touting a 21-megapixel primary camera decorated with phase-detection autofocus (PDAF), 6-axis optical image stabilization, and a 4K video-capture mode alongside a 13-megapixel secondary cam that also has PDAF. Its inbuilt camera app is operated through a DSLR-esque touchscreen dial (haptic touch), with a horizontal two-step shutter release mimicking the feel of a full-blown digital camera.

From under the hood, the Ektra's photography-centered specs are powered by a premium-class deca-core (dual 2.3GHz + quad 1.85GHz + quad 1.4GHz) Helio X20 processor bundled with 3GB of RAM and a 3000mAh quick-charging battery. Topping it off are a 32GB expandable memory, a leather finish on the rear, and the Android 6.0 Marshmallow platform.
