While still powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core CPU, the Galaxy J7 Prime replaces the original J7's 5.5-inch HD display with one rocking a Full HD resolution and Gorilla Glass 4 protection, with 3GB of RAM (instead of just 2GB) at the ready this time. The rider-centric Samsung S bike mode application joins in as well, with similar a 3300mAh battery sitting in the engine room. Several recognizable high-end specs (at least as of its release), such as a fingerprint scanner, a 13-megapixel f/1.9 main camera, and an 8-megapixel selfie cam are also on board. Just like many other 2016-released high-end models, this 4G-ready (LTE Cat 4), Marshmallow-sporting Android wears a metal casing.
