Huawei Y3 Review of Pros And Cons

Picture of the Huawei Y3, by Huawei

- Analysis by KJ David

Being limited to 3G networks and only 4 inches of screen space (480 x 800), the Huawei Y3 (Y360) is geared towards Android neophytes, meeting new users with a blend of the KitKat OS and Huawei's own Emotion UI 3.0 Lite . Also joining its pros is a dual-flash 5-megapixel main camera, though it disappointingly lacks a standard autofocus feature. Its 2-megapixel selfie cam is nothing to call home about either. Also, its 4GB memory and 512MB RAM are pretty obvious cons, knowing that many of its rivals offer at least 8GB and 1GB respectively.

To sum up, the Y3 has the makings of a starter smartphone, but it won't run that far with this mix of pros and cons.
