This Prime edition of the 2016 Galaxy J7 brings back its base model's 1.6GHz octa-core processor 
(this time with 3GB of RAM ) and upgrades the formerly-HD 5.5-inch display to a similarly-sized Full HD interface with Gorilla Glass 4 protection .
Despite those high-ranking pros, however, it did not bump up the battery capacity, still lugging 3300mAh of power 
, while some similar models have 4000mAh power packs in comparison. It also left the rear cam resolution of 13 megapixels untouched , although we do get an upgraded f/1.9 selfie camera, jumping from 5 to 8 megapixels .
As for the J7 Prime's remaining specs, it comes with fingerprint sensor security as well as Samsung's S bike mode application for rider safety. Additionally, it is loaded with a passable 32GB on-board memory , while a metallic casing matches its scratch-resistant cover glass.
So, when it comes down to pros and cons, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is obviously on a higher-level than its mother phone, probably making it a viable option for those who want a couple more high-end perks than what the J7 already offers.
