The Xperia L3 is an addition to Sony's budget-class Xperia L family that was announced during the 2019 Mobile World Congress. Some of its cons include the so-so 3GB RAM 
accompanying its middle-class 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor -- some of its octa-core rivals pack at least 4GB of RAM. Similarly, its 32GB-only internal memory does not sound that impressive, at least by the mid-range standards as of this Phonerated review. Keep in mind, though, that its support for up to 512GB's worth of top-up storage 
is a surefire pro in this Android category.
One of the L3's key specs is its relatively-wide 5.7-inch 18:9 display , which, notwithstanding, stays within budget-tier bounds by sticking to an HD+ (720p) resolution only . Check out some of the best large-screen phones here.
Imaging-wise, this mid-end Xperia model serves as a rather inexpensive entry into dual-lens imaging , combining a 13-megapixel main cam and a 2-megapixel depth-sensing cam on its rear, consequently delivering hardware-level background defocusing for portrait shots (bokeh effect) alongside a hybrid autofocus system. Perched right above its display is an 8-megapixel f/2.0-aperture frontal camera for selfies, which, relative to its other pros and cons, sounds like a decent fit.
Compared to several of its contemporaries within this Android class, the L3 pays a bit more attention to stamina, lugging a 3300mAh battery pack aided by the brand's Xperia Adaptive Charging technology , which monitors your phone's battery status while charging to prevent it from overheating and from decaying over time.

A few more of the Sony Xperia L3's pros and cons include a fingerprint reader embedded into one of its edges, a tough Corning Gorilla Glass 5 finish shielding its display from scratches, and a Mini Display function for quick one-hand use.
In summary, the Xperia L3 is a budget-class 5.7-incher for users who prioritize photography and battery life span the most.
