Kyocera Coast Pros And Cons Review

Picture of the Kyocera Coast, by Kyocera

This clamshell phone offers only basic features (Heck, it does not even have a MicroSD card slot!), but it is a UL Environment-certified device for using eco-friendly materials, which might earn you some good karma. Kyocera also claims that its battery can last up to almost a month (29 days) on standby.

Let's Look at the Cons:

Low on memory:

We are not very impressed by the size of the storage memory Kyocera put in the Coast. On a phone like this, we would expect more space to store images, videos and more.

Only basic:

It is just basic

Basic integrated camera:

We're not impressed, given the Kyocera Coast's 2-megapixel camera.

No trace of a memory expansion slot:

Does it allow memory expansion? Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to.

SAR rating info not found:

We were not able to find this phone's SAR rating. Therefore, we cannot tell you how close to the limit it is.

Unknown weight:

It's frustrating that we were not able to find information about its weight.

Pros:

Basic camera but decent options:

Though the 2-megapixel camera is only basic, it at least offer a few advanced control options, such as: Picture modes (Normal, Beach/Snow, Scenery Mirror Image, Night/Dark), Zoom, Self-timer, Multiple shots, Fun frames, Color tones, Image controls (Brightness, White balance, Sharpness, Contrast), Camera settings (Resolution, Quality)

** This phone is also known as: Kyocera S2151
